Mr. Richens earned his Bachelors degree in Accounting from Weber State University, Ogden, Utah and his Masters of Business Administration from Utah State University, Logan, Utah. He has been engaged in finance and information systems management for over 15 years. Mr. Richens has been responsible for the development and implementation of greatly improved financial strategies utilizing information systems to streamline the process.  Ken has helped craft financial turnarounds that have brought systems from the brink of bankruptcy to viable operations with a strong future. He advises member hospitals on issues related to finance and computer applications and is well versed in the preparation and analysis of Medicare cost reports and other financial forecasting and modeling.
